Course Syllabus & Required Books/Materials

Class description:
(Year A) The children will learn about the Old Testament, both the Old Testament stories and their relationship to the New Testament. The children will be introduced to the notion of Biblical types. Important theological concepts such as sin, redemption, obedience, commandments, will be covered in the context of the Old Testament stories. In the second half of the year, the children will learn about the New Testament, especially about the life of Jesus.

General Assessment Strategies:
Materials Required: The Saint Joseph Baltimore Catechism, n. 1

Tutor: Sister Rosanna (who, God willing, will be a novice by the time classes begin and will therefore have a new name)

Sister Rosanna’s family lives in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Sister entered the Labor Mariae Sisters on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows in 2018.
